Why ‘Work from Home’

exists

We created the Work from Home membership (WFH) to help

professionals like you stay connected to community during

this time of social distancing amid COVID-19. “Normal” days

for our company have been turned upside down by the

coronavirus (as yours probably have, too), but our team is

passionate about doing all we can to uphold our mission

statement. The Work from Home membership is our way of

doing just that.

This new virtual coworking membership is designed to meet

the digital workforce where they are and provide all types of

professionals with a true sense of human connection, a

plethora of resources, access to dedicated support, genuine

words of encouragement, and new friendships as we go.

Why it matters

There’s no understating it: these times are hard. Many of us

are figuring out how to work from home for the very first

time. Many are missing the daily interactions that fuel us.

Many are fearing job loss or revenue loss. Many are fearing

or facing unemployment. Though we are currently

distanced from others, we have never needed

community more. 

The Common Desk community is something special.

Whether you’re totally new to Common Desk or just new to

this whole “working from home” thing, we think you’re really

going to like what you find when you sign up. You’ll notice

that we’ve made this membership price donation-based. You

can choose what you pay as your monthly WFH membership rate.

Our memberships have never mattered more to our brand

and our team, which is why every new WFH signup will work

to keep Common Desk staffers in place to serve you when

our spaces can safely open for everyday use again. Here’s to

getting through this season together. We can’t wait to give a

toast to you over a beer at this week’s virtual happy hour!
